Hanna Schygulla was born on December 1943 in Katowice, Poland. She studied literature and theatre in Munich and between 1969 and 1972 she played in 16 films. She became internationally known for her appearance in Fassbinder's film The marriage of Maria Brown . In 1981 she plays in Lili Marlen , Fassbinder's last film before his death. Her following films were 'Λανθασμένη κίνηση' by Wim Wenders, 'Σκέτη Τρέλα' by Margaret Von Trotta, Jean-Luc Godard's Passion, 'Μια αγάπη στη Γερμανία' of Andrei Waida. In 1983 she wins the first price for feminine leading role in Cannes for 'Ιστορία του Πιέρ' of Marco Ferreri. In 1995 she returns to the theatre and appears in Waimar's Festival, in the play 'χλωμή μητέρα, τρυφερή αδελφή' with Bruno Gands, directed by Claus Michael Griber. One year later in Waimar she plays in 'Κάτω ο Γκαίτε' of Edsesberger and in Munich in Elfride Geliken's 'Θέλω να είμαι ρηχός πόθος και άδεια κυκλοφορίας' in the theatre of Marstal. PROGRAMME
